FAC Clerk is pressing us for sight of outline programmes. As you know we originally asked for something by 6 September. The Clerk is discussing the visit with the Chairman pm Wednesday 15 September. Grateful for any advice/information we can give to the Clerk at this stage.

2.(FOR BTC HONG KONG) We have also just learned that Peter Ferdinand, one of the Specialist Advisers appointed for this inquiry, will accompany the Committee next month. The Clerk has asked that he be included in all aspects of the programme in each country. Grateful i
