We said in TUR that the FAC was considering paying its visit to the Far East in the first two weeks of October. The Committee still intend to come around that time, but it could well be towards the end of the month, rather than the beginning. It will not be possible to be more precise until much nearer the time, because of uncertainty over the precise timing of the Summer recess. The Committee will make their visit in the last week of the recess and the first week of the new session, whenever that turns out to be.
You and copy addressees might like to consider whether there are any dates in October which would be particularly inconvenient for you.
The Committee could then take that into account when making their plans.
