Mr Goodlad has written to the Chairman of the HMOCS

Association informing him that decisions had been taken on the package of benefits for HMOCs. As we have given an undertaking

to the Overseas Pensioners' Association (OSPA) to advise them of

any decisions, I recommend that Mr Goodlad should also write to

the Chairman of OSPA. I submit a draft.

2.

We have already told the Secretary of OSPA of the decisions

on HMOCS; he will pass this information in confidence to the

Chairman. It would therefore be acceptable for the letter to

issue next week.
