HONG KONG: HER MAJESTY'S OVERSEAS CIVIL SERVICE (HMOCS)

Problem

1. Hong Kong have suggested that Mr Goodlad hand a letter to the Chairman, HMOCS Association at his meeting with the

Association's Committee on 31 May 1993.

Recommendation

2.

I recommend that we agree to Hong Kong's proposal. I submit

a draft letter, which has been cleared with Treasury, for

Mr Goodlad to hand to Mr Cartland.
