Kong pension as obtained at paragraph (c) as the dependant's basic pension bears to the officer's basic pension i.e.:

dependant's basic pension (HK$)

in

(e) Increase the sum obtained at paragraph (d) (i.e. the depondant's provisional notional pension) April of each year up to the date on which a calculation is to be made to determine whether a supplement is payable under paragraph 5 of the Scheme by the appropriate percentage increase obtained under the relevant Orders made under section 59 of the United Kingdom Social Security Pensions Act 1975, as from time to time in force, as if the sum obtained at paragraph (d) were a pension begining on the [1st April 1991] or the day after the officer's death, whichever is the later;

(f) The sum obtained at paragraph (d) as increased in accordance with paragraph (e) is the sterling value of the dependant's notional Hong Kong pension.

(g) Divide the sterling value of the dependant's notional Hong Kong pension by 12 to obtain the monthly rate of such sterling value.
