HONG KONG 194 Stamp Exhibition
Hong Kong will be holding its first-ever regional stamp exhibition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18 February to 21 February 1994. It is organised by the Hong Kong Philatelic Society with the full support of the Hong Kong Post Office.
The focus of the exhibition will be on the philately of
Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Macau.

As Patron of HONG KONG '94, I am seeking Her Majesty's consent to the inclusion of some items from the Royal Collection in the Court of Honour. An exhibit from the Royal Collection would add prestige to the exhibition and would stimulate great interest among philatelists and members of the public alike.
I would be most grateful if you would obtain Her Majesty's consent to having an exhibit from the Royal Collection displayed at the HONG KONG '94 stamp exhibition. Details as to the nature of the exhibit would be discussed by the Keeper of the Royal Philatelic Collection and Hong Kong's Postmaster General. This approach follows an informal conversation between these two officials at the recent Bangkok 1993 Stamp Exhibition.
