63. Rations. Individual reinforcements are to carry a 24 hour ration pack. If civil aircraft are used, hexamine (DAC) will be carried in bulk. Reinforcement units are to deploy with 5 days ORP which will be held as a reserve. BFHK will supply fresh or tinned equivalent rations through HNS.

Equipment. Reinforcing units are to be equipped for IS or TI duties and are to deploy at the scales shown in Annex D. IS packs and additional equipment for use in tropical climates are to be deployed from UK stocks to the scales in Spearhead HQ UKLF Op Instr No 19 (14th Edition). Deployment scales for on call and specialist units will be specified by BFHK if varying from the above.
65. Maps and Air Charts.

Coverage. Details of maps and air charts covering Hong Kong and the New Territories are given in MOD and Hong Kong Map Catalogues.
b. Planning Stocks. HQ UKLF is responsible for coordinating the map requirements for reinforcing Army units. RAF map and air chart requirements are to be coordinated by MOD (Air). MOD (DG Mil Svy) will make the necessary arrangements for all planning stocks, as detailed by HQ UKLF and MOD(Air), to be held by 42 Svy Engr Gp in the contingency reserve stores.
C. Operational Stocks.
Reinforcing units will be
issued with their operational map packs on arrival in Theatre.
Brunei Battalion. The Brunei battalion holds a battalion IS pack and LW scales of C Sups in Brunei. If the battalion deploys to Hong Kong it is to bring with it 5 days C Sups and IS/CI scales. Regardless of its role it will deploy with its IS pack, G1098 and command vehicles as detailed at Annex D.
67. Aviation Fuel. Based on the use of the ATF only, the following fuel uplift, in cubic metres, will be required:
