14.
Chief Fire/Ambulance Officers will be responsible for the security of all Fire Services premises within their respective Command. In the event of any doubt, they will consult with the appropriate Regional Police Commander on action to be taken, e.g. to provide police protection or to evacuate premises.
TACTICAL POLICY
15.
The normal scale of initial attendance of appliances at fires will probably be replaced during an emergency with a reduced scale. The extent of any additional assistance required will be decided by either the Watch Commander of the Fire Control or as directed by a senior Fire Services Officer, depending on the circumstances.
WELFARE
16.
Accommodation for persons rendered homeless by fire will be the responsibility of the Housing Department.
