In the Services (AMS)
event that the Auxiliary Medical is called out, the Commissioner will be responsible for organising AMS volunteers to reinforce and complement the existing emergency medical and ambulance services.

The AMS is divided into a Medical Section, comprising trained medical personnel who may be assigned to hospitals and dressing stations, and an Ambulance Section. comprising personnel trained in first aid who may be assigned to the Fire Services Ambulance Command or to form Mobile First Aid Parties.

In the event of serious incidents in a particular locality, the AMS may establish dressing stations at Government medical clinics and other premises to supplement normal casualty facilities at Government hospitals.

Building and Lands will be responsible for ensuring that essential repairs are carried out to private buildings and installations.

The Buildings Ordinance Office is committed to maintaining a 24-hour service of expert advice in case of danger, real
