Steering Group

The

responsibility for ensuring that RTHK is organised to support the Government's information effort will rest with a Steering Group comprising :

(a) Director of Broadcasting;

(b)

Deputy Director of Broadcasting;

(c)

Assistant Director (Radio);

(d)

Assistant

Director (Public Affairs

Television);

The

(e)

Controller (Educational Television);

(f) Controller (Engineering and Production

Services); and

(g)

Depatmental Secretary.

Steering Group will be formed as soon as the IPC is activated.

Duty Rosters

8.

Emergency duty rosters breaking down the key staff into composite teams are produced periodically by the Departmental Secretary.

9.

Each team will work, by rotation, an 8-hour shift, with Team A working the first shift after this contingency plan has been activated. Shift hours will be as follows :

A.M. shift

P.M. shift

7 a.m. 3 p.m.

3 p.m. 11 p.m.

10.

Night shift

For So long as

11 p.m.

7 a.m.

the contingency plan is in operation, the emergency duty rosters will supersede all normal duty rosters of the department.
