Public Mobile Radio Telephones (PMRT)

(d) SHA, Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs (DSHA), Deputy Regional Secretary (Hong Kong & Kowloon) (DRS (HK&K)), Deputy Regional Secretary (New Territories) (DRS (NT)), Principal Assistant Secretary (Headquarters) (PAS(HQ)), Chief Information Officer (CIO) and all District Officers (DOS), except District Officer (Islands), are equipped with PMRTs. In addition, the official cars of SHA and the two RSS are provided with car telephones.

Communications will be maintained primarily civil telephone and PMRT/car telephones, supplemented by facsimile machines, teleprinters and radio-telephones as necessary and, in the last

resort, by written messages.

WRITTEN LOG

9.

The CNTA Headquarters ECC and all District Offices should maintain a continuous written log of all messages transmitted/received and important civil developments during an emergency.

10.

The Secretary for Home Affairs, the Regional Secretaries, their Deputies and all District Officers should ensure that the following Centres are always informed of their whereabouts during an emergency:
