Hang and Son first met be a farmer, married with two children. Bao's family (wife and children) in 1979 at the wedding ceremony of Phuong and Chính. Bao only visited the family twice on the occasion when Chinh gave birth to her first baby in 1980. Thereafter, the two families met each other occasionally in the
Hang and Son did not know church but that was some 10 years age. the present whereabouts of Bao and his family but promised to find out the address for me as soon as possible.

Both interviewees are devoted Catholics who go to the Cathedral everyday. The Cathedral is only a few minutes' walk from their home. They know Father Thong and Father Duc Cha Tuan pretty
well as both of them are serving in the Cathedral they attend. fact, Hang knew Father Tuan since she was a child (Tuan is over 80 years old now). Religious practicing is quite liberal nowadays as compared with the situation some 10 years ago when people were deterred (not forbidden) from going to churches.
