Beijing Course There has been preliminary discussion with NCNA on the details of the Beijing Course. SCS will visit Beijing in mid-January 1993. It is likely that Qinghua University will run the courser
On 4.12.92, SCS informed the central staff councils that, apart from. the partial funding option, other pension safeguard proposals are not feasible and will not be pursued. The Administration will look into the size, scope
and means of
operation of the proposed pension reserve fund and the financial implications on
on HKG and the future SARG. The Chinese will be involved in the discussion through the JLG. A decision on the proposed pension reserve fund would be taken by the end of 1994.
