Annex 9.5 to Civil Service of non-standard passage by the attached Amendment
3.
The revised rates
of non-standard passage allowance for officers on old leave terms and officers who have opted from old leave terms to vacation leave terms or flexible vacation leave terms under CSR 1268 are also contained in the amendment sheet.
4.
Officers concerned who begin their travel on or after 1 February 1993 will receive the new rate of passage allowance. Any such officers who have already claimed reimbursement of air fare or travel-related expenses at the old rate may submit claims for any excess expenditure up to the new rate. They should write to the Director of Accounting Services via their Department and attach
original receipts for the excess expenditure. If the excess expenditure is covered by receipts already sent to DAS, they should say so and indicate the relevant items they wish to claim. For officers who do not wish to claim reimbursement of any excess expenditure, DAS will credit the unclaimed passage allowance to their passage account if applicable. The same arrangement will apply to eligible family members.
