1. I attach copies of the two papers you left for type. The minute with "short piece" has gone to James Smith-Laittan. Original of "short piece" follows by bag.
2. Also attached is a copy of a letter from Jim Hughes of Building and Lands. This is self-explanatory. It does confirm the pedestrian access and a waiver for the period to 30 June 1997. It also matches my understanding of our meeting. I have gone back to them on two points, access to the site to be in January 1993 for work to commence on the site and as a result of a fax from HKD I have asked that a second sentence be added to Special Condition 11(c) " Any space which is not currently used by the British Council may be used for the accommodation of the British Consulate-General or for any ancillary accommodation as may be required for the purposes of the British Consulate-General. " Presumably, subject to this addition, you will be able to confirm that we are now in agreement with the PTG?
3. The refund of HK$ 4000 has been added to John Partridges travel form which has been sent to you by bag. No luck with the 6" scale rule yet, but I will keep on looking.
4. Could you please arrange to copy any of the attached to HRD etc. Copies have not been sent to either Clive Newey or Derek Savage.
