Staffed from 33. Provide B/R glass counters, 2 speech units and document passing facilities into both (40) and (43).

Adequate for 100 seated: access via (40) controlled by (42). Provide cooled drinking water writing and seating facilities. Provide separate exit from building and turnstile re entry to (40). Latter only necessary if public toilets located in (40).

Each booth to have speech unit and B/R screen to counter level and be lined with sound deadening material. Booths to be large enough to accommodate 2 people on each side plus VDU on staff side. Public to have access from (43). But divided from (43) by a barrier/screen (ceiling height size) which should be translucent but not transparent. Interconnect with (33) by means of door(s) and hatch(es). Good lighting required.

Public access by controlled door via (43). Divide room by B/R screen. Provide speech facilities.

Public access by controlled door via (43). Open plan but divide by wide desk wall to wall with bar flap.

Locate at entrance to L Section to control access by public. Provide detection/body scanner and search area. Provide separate air Lock entrance and one way exit. Provide B/R glass protection and speech units round the booth. Provide passing and shelving facilities for documents and document cases etc.
