1. This is to note that Mr Parker (Legal Advisers) informed us today that Osman's 8th Habeas Corpus application has nearly ground through the mill but a 9th has just been lodged. The Home Office will ask the Divisional Court to rule that consideration of the latest Appeal cannot prevent the operation of the Removal Order for Mr Osman's extradition to Hong Kong, signed by the Home Secretary on 15 June. The Home Office seem optimistic that the court will agree with this.
