Mr. Kevin Cahill,

56 Tavistock Place,

London WC1 9RG,

England.

21st January, 1992

Dear Mr. Kevin,

I thank you for your letter of 16th January, 1992 together with your booklet.

I am highly concerned with this matter but I am the partner in charge of the audit of Bumiputra Malaysia Finance Limited who gave the opinion that exposed the sorry saga and it would be improper for me to comment thereon.

If Lorrain Osman is indeed innocent of what he has been accused of, what has he got to lose to come back to Hong Kong and testify instead of using every means available to prevent his extradition. You surprise me by saying that we owe our own system's reputation a thorough investigation of the case the fact is, we lack the principal witness who can point the finger at the real culprits.

HYW/rl

Yours sincerely,

Peter H. Y. Nong
