Third batch of officers in the Royal Hong Kong

Police Force interviewed

Purpose

This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 527 potentially successful applicants in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 527 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

Members will be invited to -

(a) note

the results of personality checks and verification 527 potentially successful applicants in the

interviews

Royal Hong Kong Police Force; and

(b) advise whether the applications from these 527 principal applicants and their dependants should be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
