Fourth batch of applicants in

the Immigration Department interviewed

Purpose

This paper informs members of the results of personality checks. and verification interviews on 60 of the 438 potentially successful applicants in the Immigration Department. Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 60 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
