At the Steering Committee meeting held on 21 November 1991, members considered the profile of Occupational Group 14 "Other Medical Professionals" and advised

and advised that personality

that personality checks and verification interviews should be carried out for applicants who scored the highest number of provisional points within their quota of 146. So far, Immigration Department has completed such checks and interviews on 18 principal applicants, their 10 spouses and 11 minor children. The checks and interviews have not revealed any adverse information on any of these applicants or their dependants. All the 18 principal applicants and their 21 dependants appear to be suitable for recommendation by the Governor to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens pursuant to Section 1(1) and Schedule 2 respectively of the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990, subject to confirmation of no change in the applicants' circumstances.
