First batch of "Other Medical Professionals"

(except nurses & midwives) interviewed

Purpose

This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 18 of the 146 potentially successful applicants in Occupational Group 14 "Other Medical Professionals" (except nurses & midwives). Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, the 18 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
