Il was indeed a great pleasure to bring you up-to-date on immigration matters in Hong Kong, and I will be delighted to do so whenever you are here.

You asked whether I could let you have the relevant Agreements in connection with the introduction of the British National (Overseas) (BN(0)) passports.

I have since consulted the Foreign and advice is that because the Agreements you requested are confidential government to government agreements and also because theyssions in the JLG which, by virtue of Annex II of the Sino- British Joint Declaration on the question of Hong Kong, shall remain confidential
