extradition treaty will follow soon. The Chinese are still

studying the HK/Australian IPPA, but no reason to believe

the Chinese will have any difficulties over it.

The same is not true for ASA's. Situation presently deadlocked over Taiwan rights involved in some ASAs (not the Australian one). We are making a major effort to resolve

this by the end of the Summer. It is unfortunate that the

Australian ASA is held up by this problem.
