MR PATTEN'S FAREWELL PARTY: TUESDAY, 30 JUNE: 6 8 PM

DURBAR COURT:

It has been agreed that the Governor-designate of Hong Kong, Mr Christopher Patten, may hold a farewell reception in the Durbar Court on Tuesday, 30 June, between 6 and 8 pm. He is inviting some 350 guests (of whom some 200 may be expected to accept) and is advising them to enter via the Clive Steps entrance.

I should be grateful if you could arrange to keep the Clive Steps entrance open until the reception is over (I should imagine that 9 pm would do).
