BRIEFING ON CHINA AID PROGRAMME

We agreed that Mr Patten would come over to Lady Chalker's ODA office at 5.30 pm on 20 May for a briefing on our aid programme for China. Lady Chalker will also want to discuss a couple of ideas we have for trying to make our aid programme helpful to Mr Patten during his Governorship. I should be grateful if Messrs Burns, Manning, and McClean would also attend the meeting.
