BRITISH CONSULATE GENERAL

- On 21 September 1991 the Sino-British Land Commission agreed to provide the site for the future British Consulate

General on concessionary terms.

- This has enabled us to press on with detailed planning and construction of a prestige British Consulate General for Hong Kong, which will be ready before 1997. This will demonstrate our confidence in and continuing commitment to

Hong Kong's future.
