ARTICLE 10
(1) This Agreement shall enter into force thirty (30) days after the date on which the Governments have notified each other in writing that their respective requirements for entry into force of this Agreement have been complied with.
(2) Each Government may terminate the Agreement by giving notice to the other. In the case of termination this Agreement shall cease to have effect ninety (90) days after receipt of the notice to terminate.
In witness whereof the undersigned, being duly authorised by their respective Governments, have signed this Agreement.

Schedule 1
For the purposes of Article 1, the requisite travel documents are
(a) before 1997
1. Hong Kong British Dependent Territories
Citizen passports.
2.
British National (Overseas) passports.
3. Hong Kong Certificates of Identity.
(b) after 1997
1. Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
passports.
2.
Travel documents issued by the UK in which the right of abode in Hong Kong has been endorsed by the Hong Kong SAR authorities.
