Grounds for withdrawal of approval

to be a manager

Section 26(1)(c) of the Education Ordinance (Cap. 279) is

amended by repealing "had its registration or its exemption from

registration cancelled under section 10 of that Ordinance or which

has been dissolved under section 30" and substituting "its operation

or continued operation prohibited by the Secretary for Security

under section 7".

Section 3(3)(a) of the Heung Yee Kuk Ordinance (Cap. 1097) is

amended by repealing "registered or exempted from registration under

the Societies Ordinance (Cap. 151) and approved by the Secretary for

Home Affairs, and on the withdrawal of such registration, exemption

or approval" and substituting

"in respect of which the Societies Ordinance (Cap. 151) applies

and acknowleged to be a rural committee or a federation or

other association of rural committees by the Secretary for Home

Affairs under section 5A of that ordinance and on the

withdrawal of such acknowledgment".
