(c) Article 9: Customs Duties

The changes here appear to be insubstantial. In the past, minor drafting changes from the text of the model ASA Customs Duties Article have not been highlighted.

(d) Article 12: Conversion and Remittance of Revenue

This is similar to Article 11 of the Hong Kong/Malaysia ASA.

I suggest therefore that when the time is right, the ASA texts may be handed to the Chinese simply with a note to say that they contain no substantive differences from other Hong Kong ASAS.
