American Bureau of Shipping, Bureau Veritas, China Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyds Register of Shipping and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai have been approved to perform the functions in relation to ships registered in Ilong Kong to the extent given below :
(i) The assignment of freeboards and issue of International Load Line Certificates (Assigning Authority).
(ii) The stability investigation and approval of stability information of certain types of ships (Assigning Authority).
