HONG KONG: FAO DEPOSITION OF INSTRUMENT OF ACCEPTANCE

1.

Now that the Hong Kong Government has accepted responsibility for all mandatory contributions, HMG has no objection to its accepting an amendment to introduce mandatory contributions for the contracting governments to the Asia and Pacific Plant Protection Agreement (the depository of which is the FAO.

2.

I would be grateful if you could make the necessary arrangements for the relevant instrument of acceptance to be deposited with the FAO of the amendment as laid out in paragraph 7 of the Report on the 16th Session of the Plant Protection Commission for the Asia and Pacific Region Suweon, Republic of Korea, 26 September - 2 October 1989.
