(c) Forms of co-operation
Co-operation will principally take the following forms:
exchanges of information by means of seminars and the sending of
speakers:
various events such as trade missions, business weeks, trade fairs
and events dealing with sub-contracting;
organization of events promoting contacts between Community and
Brazilian businessmen;
carrying out feasibility studies or
assessments for projects or in
order to identify new forms of co-operation;
promoting joint ventures or developing broader partnerships in accordance with the specific requirements of the firms concerned;
- technical and administrative support and assistance, for example in
respect of BC-Net or systems to support industrial co-operation;
research projects and exchanges of scientists

2. INDUSTRIAL CO-OPERATION
(a) Objectives
The key objectives are:
to help the Brazilian economy through a period of adjustment and
liberalization;
(1) During negotiations on this Agreement, the Brazilian delegation will be
reminded that economic co-operation will proceed more effectively if Brazil follows the stabilization programmes and in particular that currently being finalized with the IMF.
