Information will be targeted first and foremost at teachers, trainers and executive personnel. Measures will include cooperation between training and higher education establishments in Europe and Macao, particularly those dealing with science and technology and the professions.
The environment
The parties will undertake to cooperate on environmental protection, particularly with regard to legislation and standards, research, training, the implementation of environmental protection projects and the organization of development seminars and meetings.
7. Social development

Provision will be made for cooperation in social development in order to improve the standard of living of the most disadvantaged sections of the population, notably by providing technical assistance concentrating on vocational training, Job creation, Improvement of housing and preventive medicine.
8. Drug abuse
The two parties will undertake to coordinate and intensify their efforts to inhibit and reduce the production, trafficking and consumption of drugs. Provision will be made for the exchange of relevant information.
9. Tourism
The contracting parties will undertake to cooperate in developing tourism.
(d) Within the bounds of their respective capacities and procedures, the
contracting parties will undertake to mobilize the adequate resources, Including financial resources, to attain the objectives proposed.
