SIR S K TANG BEQUEST

We seem to be encountering some difficulty in setting up a Charitable Trust to handle this bequest, and I wonder whether you might be able to help. The matter has been in in the hands of your Commission since May last year.

We need to know when we can expect the Trust to be established, not least because we are coming under pressure from those who expect to be beneficiaries of the

Trust. Mr Venables gave us some helpful advice in 1989, but I understand that since then, the Department concerned here has had considerable difficulty in making contact with him. I enclose a self-explanatory letter, to which we have not yet had a reply, despite follow-up phone calls.

I should be grateful if you could let me know how

matters stand.
