(page 4)
Identify the immediate outputs that are expected to result from the
(e.g. project
working specialists, laboratory for new procedures, radiation safety standards, technical
improved reports,
agricultural practices,
new
the varieties of seeds) and how these will contribute to achievement of the project's primary objectives mentioned in
3.2.
It is expected that the project will result in
(a) the production of a detailed and comprehensive exercise plan to fully test the adequacy and effectiveness of the revised DBCP for radiological accidents; and
(b)
a
post exercise
report with clear
recommendations
on
whether the revised DBCP could be finalized per se and if not, how any weakness that may come to light should be rectified.
It is hoped that through the assistance of the IAEA experts, who would be expected to take a leading role in the above activities, a rapid transfer of expertise in the field of radiological preparedness would also be achieved. Not only would this be valuable but it would ensure those involved in the preparation of future exercises had a sound idea of the approach and considerations that should apply.
