Please bear in mind that the MPs on the Sub-Committee will all have their causes celebres, so bidding for places is likely to be lively. As well as convincing reasons why countries should secure places, I should be grateful for an indication of which countries' bids might be sacrificed if necessary.

5. The CPA have to be even-handed in allocating places. Countries which have not figured prominently in seminars and visits in recent years are normally given precedence.

Not all Commonwealth countries and dependent territories are eligible for membership of the CPA. A full list of current members is attached.
