Please be informed that approval has been given for the officers listed in paragraph 2 of your letter to transfer to the permanent and pensionable establishment. Medical examinations are being arranged and you will be informed of the outcome in due course.

As for Mr. R.W. Davies, he has passed the medical examination and a copy of the Medical Examination Board's Report (G.F. 76) dated 29.5.92 is enclosed for your reference. Mr. Davies's transfer took effect on 25 August 1992.
