Future of the Judiciary: Terms and Conditions of Service is at Annex Hence when the New Pension Scheme for Judicial Officers was introduced in December 1988, applications for transfer to permanent Lerms by Judges were automatically approved and those from Judicial Officers other than judges were approved if they were supported by the Judicial Service Commission. The cut-off date of 28 March 1985 for first appointment has never been applied.
