The Minister has seen your submission of 29 October. He is prepared to approve your recommendation to admit these three members of the Judiciary to HMOCS, on the understanding that:

They constitute a unique group insofar as they fulfil all of the conditions for HMOCS membership;

There will not be similar applications from other members of the Judiciary;

- This cannot be used as a precedent by other expatriate pensionable officers to seek HMOCS membership as a means of protecting their pensions.
