The Secretary of State has decided that he will not consider an application from officers in the service of Hong Kong for membership of HMOCS unless the officer concerned has, in fact, transferred to pensionable terms by 30 April 1993.
It is emphasised that this deadline applies only to eligibility for membership of HMOCS and its consequences for any scheme affecting members of HMOCS.
