ODA OFFICERS PENSIONS QUESTIONNAIRE

I notice from Mr Banks' letter of 10 August to Mr Waters in the Civil Service Branch that you normally have personal files for overseas pensionable officers recruited through the Colonial Office and Crown Agents.

2.

I have noticed that we have a fairly large number of recruitment files on Administrative Officers in the Hong Kong Government in the Hong Kong Department here. I wonder whether you have copies of these files or whether you would want them? To illustrate the point, and picking three names at random, do you have files on Mr Peter Pelham, Mr Alisdair Sinclair and Mr Michael Stone? If you do not, it might be worth considering whether these files should be moved up to the ODA refer to them.
