Delegation of Statutory Powers and Duties

In accordance with General Regulation 503, the following are circulated for information -

a list of the statutory powers and duties delegated by the Governor under section 63 of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance, Chapter 1 (Annex A);

a list of the statutory powers and duties for which public officers have been specified by the Governor under section 43 of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance, Chapter 1 (Annex B).

Although every endeavour has been made to ensure the annexed lists are comprehensive, there may nevertheless be some omissions. Please bring them to the attention of the Deputy Departmental Administration Officer (Departmental Services) of the Administration Wing of the Chief Secretary's Office.
