pension safeguards options must be further examined.

The Staff Sides of the Senior Civil Service Council (SCSC) and the Disciplined Services Central Council (DSCC) continue to press for an extension of the deadline (30.6.92) for opting for the New Pension Scheme SO that, before exercising their options, staff can take into account the outcome of the pension safeguards issue and the outcome of the British Nationality Scheme.
