Please see the attached self explanatory telnos 562 and 563 from Hong Kong.

2. I should be grateful for your confirmation that you are content with the wording of the draft exchange of letters. This follows exactly the format used forthe visa waiver with South Africa (copy attached).

3. Perhaps MVD could also clear these draft letters, and also advise on where the exchanges of letters should take place. There are no Consulates in Hong Kong of the countries concerned. My own view is that the notes should go via our Embassies in Prague, Warsaw and Budapest, (Hong Kong wish the letters to go from them to the relevant MFA and this would be easier via our own Embassies).
