I too have some amendments to make and the following companies should have been included in my faxes of 21 or 31 December since they were approved by the Committee some time ago:

Gestetner International Ltd - to be incorporated in list A;

Chin Tung Ltd was omitted from the Standard Chartered list of subsidiaries;

Hill Samuel Investment Services Asia Ltd should go to list B/C as a wholly owned subsidiary of the TSB Group;

Lilley Construction Hong Kong Ltd should also go to list B/C ав a wholly owned subsidiary of Lilley Construction Ltd;

Peter Fraenkel Consultants (HK) Ltd also to list B/C. It is 50% owned by British Maritime Technology Ltd and 50% by Peter Fraenkel International;

Sun Alliance Insurance Group also to list B/C as owned subsidiary of Sun Alliance Insurance Group.

There are other small amendments to be made in light of new information we have received over the last few days. Although they do not change our decisions on any of the companies already approved, you will need to be aware of them and indeed some companies will have to be moved to different lists:

M W Marshall (Hong Kong) Ltd - company ceased to be a subsidiary

Linkforce Engineering Ltd

of British & Commonwealth Holdings sometime ago. It is wholly

owned by M W Marshall & Company Ltd of the UK;

this company is no longer owned by Simon Overseas Holdings Ltd but jointly by local British and Hong Kong BNO passport holders. 40% of company's equity is held by British Citizens and company's senior management staff are all BC8. It therefore qualifies under categories D(i) and D(ii) and should be removed from list B/C;

Wiggins Teape (Hong Kong) Ltd- this company remains on list B/C

Cape Building Products

International (Far East) Ltd

but is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wiggins Teape Appleton Plc based in Hampshire;

again this company should remain on list B/C but as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cape Plc.
