Thank you for your letter (Ref IMM CR3/189/PT8) of 29 November which has been passed to me by Migration and Visa Department for reply.
I understand your problem and I would suggest that you conduct the record check through our Embassy in Manila at the time a Filipino national applies for the letter confirming their eligibility to obtain entry clearance to the UK. If successful and therefore eligible to be included on your register there would be no need to refer to Manila again when a formal application for entry clearance is submitted at a later date. This is of course, providing nothing has substantially changed since the issue of the eligibility letter. This procedure may cause a little delay in issuing the eligibilty letter but would certainly speed up any eventual issue of an entry certificate.
I have consulted both the Home Office and Migration and Visa Department on this and they agree that this would be the best way round the problem.
