Hrachas,
Dar N. Strecken,
During my short visit to Hong Kong I had the opportunity to
visit one of the High Island Camps. It was not a pleasant
experience but it was essential that I saw the problem for myself
at first hand. Hong Kong, by virtue of its success, has had to
bear the cost of failure of regimes elsewhere.
Tragic as the situation is, I was struck by the dedication
of all those involved in running the camps who are making life
within them as tolerable and as decent as it could be in the
circumstances.
Please pass my thanks and appreciation to all those involved
coping with this dreadful problem.
Your Favaly
Ian Strachan, Esq.
