I have been given to understand that active steps are being currently taken to plan for a new British Consulate Building on the site of the existing Colvin House in Hong Kong in anticipation of the PRC takeover in 1997.

I am further advised that the responsibility for undertaking this project will rest with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British Government.

As the longest established architectural firm in Hong Kong, (established 1874) we would like very much to register an interest in being considered as architect for this prestigious project and I would be very grateful if your office could assist by advising me of the name of the department or official in the UK Government we should approach to do so.
