1. The former Head of Information Section in the Macau equivalent of Government Information Services, Paulo Reis, has now gone to the private sector as director of the Portuguese daily Gazeta Macanese. In his spare time Reis is trying to produce a monthly bulletin in English on Macau affairs. I attach his first one.

2. Reis was well informed when with the government and will still be reasonably plugged in. We will not subscribe to his newsletter

(at HK $9,000 a year) but I thought this (free) issue worth sending on.
